The second generation of Cadillac DeVille was introduced for the 1961 model year. This updated generation of DeVille was a series of luxury hardtops and convertibles fitted with a 6.4L V8 engine (7.0L for 1964). Production of the 2nd gen DeVille lasted until 1964, when it was replaced by the Third Generation Cadillac DeVille.
